Meeting Places

• January to ? 2024 - Club continues to meet at its Salt Lake location.

Events: 

• January 13, 2024 - Participated in the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii New Year's Ohana Festival.  Introduced event attendees to the game of Go and played 9x9 games with them. This is our 4th participation in this event.

• March 30-31, 2024 - Kawaii Kon Convention.  Introduced event attendees to the game of Go and played 9x9 games with them. This is our 3rd participation in this event.

Significant events:

• Brian Johnson, Honolulu Go Club Co-founder wins the prestigious national award American Go Foundation Teacher of the Year.  Brian wins an all expense paid trip to the US Go Congress held this year at Portland, Oregon to receive his award.  Congratulations to Brian.

• Governor Josh Green signs a proclamation on July 1, 2024 recognizing Brian Johnson's and the Honolulu Go Club's contributions to Go.
